Faithful Circle
Quilters produces many quilts and other items for disaster
relief, such as Hurricane Katrina; and to local shelters and
hospitals, as well as Susan G. Komen For The Cure raffle quilts
for information on that project).
We use a tremendous amount of fabric, batting, thread and many
other supplies. We make anxiety quilts for psychiatric patients,
tote bags and mastectomy pillows for breast cancer patients, IV

Grassroots Homeless
Shelter Donations
Howard County's homeless shelter, Grassroots,
has been a long-time recipient of Love Quilts from FCQ. With
recent budget cuts and drops in financial donations, they are
also in need of other items required for daily operation (see
list). If anyone has some of these items extra around the house,
or is willing to pick up an item or two extra at a weekly
shopping trip, please consider donating it to Grassroots. Items
can be given to Maria O'Haver at any meeting or dropped off at
her house. Maria will collect and deliver the items to
Grassroots on an ongoing basis.

have.
