About Us
(page last updated October 22, 2009)

FAITHFUL CIRCLE is the name of the traditional quilt pattern shown in our logo. It represents the fellowship to be found in quilting and in guild participation.

Faithful Circle Quilters began in 1971 in the home of Peggy Hood in Columbia, Maryland. Peggy found quilters by placing an ad in the local newspaper, and about 15 showed up for the first meeting!

Today our membership is over 200 women and men with skill levels that range from beginner to professional. Our first quilt show was held in 1972 in the First Presbyterian Church at Routes 108 and 29 in Columbia, Maryland, where we have met since the beginning.
